Process Analysers -Extractive Type- for Safe and ATEX Classified Area

Analysers of the series 886X are specifically designed for continuous measurements in the most heavy duty applications.

 

Sensing units of these analysers are housed in rugged IP65 housings, configurable for safe or hazardous area with the highest protection mode (II2 GD EEx-d IIC T6, IP65 T 85°C, Tamb -10…+50°C) and can be installed in cabinet or on panel just like a sampling system component.

  

 Accuracy

All analysers of 886X series have class of accuracy better than 1%. They are inner temperature controlled and completely insensitive to ambient temperature variations.

 

Why a modular Construction for sensing and control unit

First because modular construction makes maintenance extremely easy. It’s enough to unscrew the cap of the housing to have access to inner sensing unit that can be removed only by disconnecting 3 wires and unscrewing 2 screws. Moreover, in case of failure, sensing and control can be separately repaired or replaced, reducing to the minimum the plant stop. Secondly, two split units allow the customer to select the preferred installing configuration, optimizing costs. In fact the control unit can be placed in field (in safe or hazardous area) but can be also remote in control room in safe area.
